Misak Earrings

These beauties are hand beaded by a collective of Misak Indigenous women out of Silvia, Cauca, Colombia--the traditional territories of the Misak community. Within the community, there are different customs that are learned from within the house and are passed down generations such as weaving on the loom, agriculture, cooking, and you guessed it, beading! All pieces are made by Angela Morales Yalanda, Liliana Yalanda, Patricia Tombe, Yasmin Velasco, Angela Morales, Aide Lucia, and Deisy Ullune. 🩷
